Computer Crazy

Last update on August 2008 by Robert

The Commodore 64 was my very first computer. 64KB of memory was utter luxury in those days.

Edward and David learnt to use computers at a young age. Edward was given Jumpstart Preschool for his second birthday, and he soon got the hang of it. Encouraged by this, we let David start a few months earlier.
They've both played a variety of games on the PC, but the real fun started with Gameboys.

Here Edward and David have linked up their gameboys with Matthew and Joshua.
Next came a second hand Nintendo Super NES which was soon replaced by the Nintendo 64. One of the reasons for buying a Nintendo 64 was the availability of Pokemon titles like Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Stadium II. Their playing skill has improved beyond belief and many games have been completed by the boys. If you're stuck on Space Station Silicon Valley, look at David's tips.

In 2003 we gave in and got a Gamecube. The first games for Gamecube we got were Super Mario Sunshine and Super Smash Brothers Melee. Pikmin was a great hit with all the family, so naturally we also got Pikmin 2.
These games have inspired Edward to design his own game, Sorander's Adventures.

Having read thus far, you won't be surprised to hear we have a Wii . It is great fun, yet somehow it seems to lose out to massively multiplayer online games (MMOG) such as Runescape .
